“Keep your face to the sunshine and you cannot see the shadows. That’s what a sunflower does.” – Helen Keller
Being a Wisconsin resident my whole life, I’ve never been to a sunflower field. That’s crazy. After hearing about this place on the news, I decided to make the almost hour trek to Stone Bank School to see the sea of smiles. (A lady that was there visiting walked by and said they call Sunflower fields the sea of smiles, I love that!)
*Pro-tip: this field a majority of the Sunflowers are so tall. Bring a step stool or small ladder for best coverage. I brought a step stool and it worked just fine.

To stand out in a field full of sunflowers, I decided to wear fuchsia ruched bodycon dress and paired it with a cream embroidered kimono duster. Since I wasn’t sure of the terrain, I stuck with my favorite pearl sandals. AND I was finally able to wear my new Kendra Scott earrings and necklace.

This dress is from Amazon and was only $20!! I thought the color was so pretty and it’s perfect for all the summer activities.
It’s also a perfect piece to transition to fall. Throw some over the knee boots, a chunky cardigan, and a felt hat and you are good to go!
